![]() ![]() I encourage all fellow ZenMode haters to apply this hack, the sooner the better. We are NOT going to put up with this intrusive malware and OnePlus need to know it. I did it on my wife's non-rooted phone (mine is rooted). Many thanks to the great people at XDA Developers. It will now read "disabled" to the right of the name. Now scroll all the way to the bottom to Zen Mode. Hit the 3 dots at the upper right hand corner and tap Show System. To be sure, go to Settings -> Apps and Notifications -> See all XXX apps. If it shows some text and (most importantly) the word "disabled", you did it! This Zen Mode garbage will never bother you again. If the screen shows the phone's serial number (7 or 8 numbers/letters), you're connected and ready to go.Ħ) Now type adb shell pm disable-user. ![]() Now locate the folder where you installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot and open a command prompt window.ĥ) To make sure you're properly connected, type adb devices. Ignore silly warning messages, if any.Ĥ) Plug your phone into a USB port on the PC. Tap that and turn it on (at the top of the screen), then scroll down to USB Debugging and turn it on. To do this, go Settings -> About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times (it'll say "You're a Developer").ģ) Now hit Settings and scroll down until you see Developers Options. Follow these steps:ġ) Go here - download the latest version of Minimal ADB and Fastboot then install it on your PC (assuming you're using Windows).Ģ) Go to your phone and activate Developers Options. Click to expand.You CAN disable this application. ![]()
